Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program

Our institution has elected to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program.  Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.  Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

Tiered Rate Information:

  • If your daily balance is more than $5,000.00, but less than $10,000.01, the interest rate on the entire balance of your account will be .500% with an annual percentage yield of .50%.
  • If your daily balance is more than $10,000.00, but less than $25,000.01 or more, the interest rate on the entire balance of your account will be .750% with an annual percentage yield of .75%.
  • If your daily balance is $25,000.01 or more, the interest rate on the entire balance of your account will be 1.000% with an annual percentage yield of 1.00%
