With Morgantown Bank & Trust Mobile Deposit, you can make a mobile check deposit directly into your checking or savings account using the Morgantown Bank & Trust App for supported Apple® and Android Phone devices.

Remote Check CaptureYour deposit is securely transmitted to our Bookkeeping staff.  Decisions on mobile deposits are made by a person, not a computer, so you are still receiving the same great personal customer service you have known to expect from your community bank, Morgantown Bank & Trust.

After logging in to your mobile banking app, you will see the Mobile Deposit option under the main menu.  Follow the prompts to take pictures of the front and back of the check (don’t forget to sign the back of the check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only”).  Then, tap the continue button.

You’ll get 2 emails for every deposit made:
  1. A confirmation email that we have received your deposit.
  2. And another email stating whether your deposit has been approved or denied.

If your deposit has been approved, you may see availability of the funds in your account as soon as the next business day.  However, some deposits may be subject to a hold (the same as they would if deposited at a branch location).

You’ll need four things to get started:
  • A checking or savings account– Mobile Deposit can be used with your Morgantown Bank & Trust checking or savings account.
  • An Online Banking User ID & Password – You’ll need to “Enroll” in online banking if you have not done so yet. Just click HERE to Enroll.
  • Your mobile device– Mobile Deposit is supported on iPhone® and iPad® running iOS 7.0+ and Android mobile devices running OS 4.4+.
  • The Morgantown Bank & Trust Mobile app – Mobile Deposit is available in the Morgantown Bank & Trust Mobile app. To download, visit the app store for your mobile device and search for Morgantown Bank and Trust.

FAQs

You will get a confirmation email that we have received your deposit and another email stating whether your deposit has been approved or denied.  Approved deposits will be posted to your account the same business day that you receive your approval email with funds made available as soon as daily processing is complete.  Some deposits may be approved subject to a hold.  If this is the case, the email notification will outline the length of the hold and the date the funds will be made available.
Try checking in your spam or junk folder first.  You can also go back to the Check Deposit screen in the mobile app and make sure the email you had entered was correct.  Don’t worry if the email was entered incorrectly.  We would never send identifying information thru email.  Just be sure to update the information the next time you use Mobile Deposit.  If neither of these solutions answer your question, please call us during business hours at (270) 526-3881 to confirm receipt of the deposit.  And make sure to add [email protected] as a contact to help ensure delivery of your receipt.
Upon receipt of an approved deposit confirmation from Morgantown Bank & Trust, please retain the check for at least 30 calendar days from the date of the image transmission.  After 30 days, you may destroy the check, mark it “VOID”, or otherwise render it incapable of further transmission, deposit, or presentment.
The easiest and most convenient way to access your funds is to use your debit card.  Also, to avoid ATM fees, you can visit any SUM Network ATM to withdrawal cash.  To locate the nearest SUM ATM, you can download the SUM ATM Locator app from your app store.   Download on iOS  Download on Google Play You can also use your Debit Card as a PIN based transaction at any merchant that offers the cash back option.
